STATEMENT

An important part of my work as a visual artist has been dedicated to exploring and speculating on mythological narratives and scientific narratives. I am interested in the physical world as well as the way we perceive it.

Looking, smelling, but mostly listening, and sometimes, supported by one or another amplification machine, I follow the orientations offered to me by landscapes. The weavings of water, its overflows, its sometimes unexpected and hypnotizing character. I also explore the stones as a first archive and primary technology of orientation. I translate my findings into installations and sound or editorial pieces.

Una parte importante de mi trabajo como artista visual lo he dedicado a explorar y especular en las narraciones mitológicas y las narraciones científicas. Me interesa el mundo físico así como la forma en que lo percibimos.

Mirando, oliendo, pero principalmente escuchando, y a veces, apoyada por uno u otra máquina de amplificación, sigo las orientaciones que me ofrecen los paisajes. Los tejidos del agua, sus desbordes, su carácter, a veces, inesperado e hipnotizante. También me interesa el magnetismo de las piedras como primer archivo y tecnología primaria de orientación. Traduzco mis hallazgos en instalaciones y piezas sonoras o editoriales.

Una parte importante de mi trabajo como artista visual lo he dedicado a explorar y especular en las narraciones mitológicas y las narraciones científicas. Me interesa el mundo físico así como la forma en que lo percibimos.

Traduzco mis hallazgos en instalaciones y piezas sonoras o editoriales.
